Kaizer Chiefs are in advanced talks to appoint Fernando Da Cruz as next season’s head coach.
The Frenchman previously worked at Amakhosi before the 2024/25 season as Nasreddine Nabi’s assistant coach.
FERNANDO DA CRUZ RETURNING TO KAIZER CHIEFS?
According to FARPost reporter and South African Football Journalists’ Association (SAFJA) Journalist of the Year Mthokozisi Dube, Kaizer Chiefs have opened talks with both Da Cruz and Portuguese coach Alexandre Santos.

“FARPost can confirm that Chiefs have held discussions with both Da Cruz and Portuguese coach Alexandre Dos Santos as part of their search for a new mentor,” Dube reported.
“However, indications increasingly point towards Da Cruz, who has emerged as the club’s preferred option at this stage of the process.”
