Marcell Coetzee insists the Bulls will not underestimate Munster despite the Irish side arriving at Loftus with several key players sidelined ahead of Saturday’s Vodacom URC quarter-final.
Munster are set to be without a host of senior stars, including captain Tadhg Beirne, Jack Crowley, Jean Kleyn and Calvin Nash.
MARCELL: Bulls already in knockout mode
But Coetzee believes the former URC champions remain a dangerous knockout outfit regardless of personnel.
“I don’t think that much really,” the Bulls captain said when asked about how Munster’s injuries will affect them.
“They’ve got a system that works for them and they’ve been playing knockout rugby for the last few weeks, so I think they’re pretty settled whichever squad they bring.”
Coetzee warned that Munster’s ability to stay alive in contests and disrupt opposition rhythm makes them one of the toughest teams in the competition.
“All Irish sides always stay in the fight until the last minute,” he said.
“Munster in particular find ways to break you down and disrupt your rhythm.”

The Bulls skipper said the Pretoria side’s focus remains firmly on execution and accuracy as they chase a place in the URC semi-finals.
“For us it’s about being mentally prepared for what’s coming. We’ve got a set plan that we want to implement on the day and it’s all about accuracy and finding our rhythm and them not disrupting that,” Coetzee said.
“It’s all about rising to the occasion and enjoying the moment.”
