The Media edition of the gsport Newsletter carries the fourth and final code in the gsport21 campaign. Over three Wednesdays, you have collected three words, and the final code in this evening’s Newsletter completes the line. Read together, the four words reveal the phrase that has carried this campaign from the first edition, now a call to action for the crew working this year’s Awards.
With the last code in hand, the doors are open. The application page you have been unlocking, code by code, is live from this evening, and you can now apply to join the crew that builds the 21st gsport Awards.
Here is why this matters. For twenty years, this platform has been carried by people who saw a gap and stepped into it. The designers and photographers who shaped the gsport look. The broadcasters who lent their voices to the night. The social and live posters who put each moment on timelines across the country before the applause had faded. The runners, drivers, ushers and coordinators whose names you will never read, and without whom the night simply does not happen. The Awards have always been built by hands, not only headlines.
Now we are inviting yours.
The mechanics are simple, and they reward those who have walked the full month with us. Submit your application with all four codes, and you sit at the top of the pile when the team starts reading. Three codes are read before two, two before one. If tonight is the only edition you caught, you are still welcome, and every application will be considered. But those who collected every code will be read first.

The 2026 gsport Awards take place in August. They mark twenty-one years of championing South African sportswomen, and the first full chapter of gsport’s third decade.
